So apparently, Strikes in Destiny count as completed even if the boss is killed the very moment you spawn in.

Because that just happened.

no but imagine if you drank too much at a bar and then passes out on the floor and no-one could find your pulse so hours later you woke up in the ER or worse a morgue

Dude fake murders. Frame people. Scare the shit out of everyone. Pretend to be dead.

fail gym because you dont have a pulse for them to measure

CPR class: “can i have a volunteer?”
Halloween…be a zombie. Without a pulse. Hell yes.

… How could you possibly not have a pulse if blood were pulsing through your veins? I’m not a doctor but I think that has to be happening for you to live.

It’s because the blood flows continuously instead of in bursts.

It is called a ventricular assist device (VAD). It is used to replace the function of a failing heart  or for short term use, typically for patients recovering from heart attacks or heart surgery.

Originally designed to aid a single heart chamber, two doctors (O.H. “Bud” Frazier and William Cohn) figured out that they could basically strap two LVADs together to make a working artificial heart, winning the biggest “Why Didn’t I Think of That?” award.

Somehow, my homework actually (sort of) involved me doing this.

I’ve been playing some N Terraria with friends

This is not a well-made mod, but it’s fun as hell mostly because of that.

Our party consists of

1. A fighter who deals multiple thousands of damage, which is unnecessary for reasons mentioned in the first point after the party list.

2. Me, a thief exploiting a bug that makes me completely fucking invincible except to fall damage, fire blocks, and drowning, unless I lag heavily, talk, or tab out. Oh, and I’m carrying a sword that swings so quickly it just appears to be two stationary semi-transparent swords.

3. A merchant who can chain-sell things for a profit and has a horde of eye minions following him. The selling ability is kind of unnecessary because we sold something once and it exploded into a bit over 4000 platinum coins for no clear reason.

And others

Also, the enemies are really weird

Almost all enemies have some kind of massive negative knockback resistance and most enemies will be punted into orbit with any weapon that deals even a modest amount of knockback.

One of us once saw a bat so big it took up half the screen. The enemies are a bit big.

Head hitboxes in Destiny are way too big. I score headshots all the time without the reticle even being on the enemy, let alone its head

I mean

It has to be close, but still

(As a Scout Rifle user, I am definitely not complaining)

(The Hive bows before the might of my headshots)

(Except Thrall)

(Fuck Thrall)

Not everyone sees the same color when they stare at this spinning disk.
The gif is called, “Benham’s disk" "is named after the English toymaker Charles Benham, who in 1895 sold a top painted with the pattern shown. When the disk is spun, arcs of pale color, called Fechner colors or pattern-induced flicker colors (PIFCs), are visible at different places on the disk. Not everyone sees the same colors."
"The phenomenon originates from neural activity in the retina and spatial interactions in the primary visual cortex, which plays a role in encoding low-level image features, such as edges and spatiotemporal frequency components."
Fascinating how our brains work, I see a brown tan, what do you see? :D

Light blue?

ssb4 is great and all but can it do THIS

Oh my god

Someone way back in my fifth grade class told me about this

I didn’t really believe them

(Also, you can’t play as Master Hand in SSB4 like you could in Melee)

(Master Hand is really fun to play as, especially with the sub-glitches)
